Part # on the invoice 11145-41B00-000 Cap Cylinder head, cost $6.40 13 months ago. Not a visible metal band around it, but it does have a hard inside hich is probably where the metal band is referred to in the old posting vs a all rubber plug??
If you can get a bearing supplier who has access to a Japanense Seal catalog, #s look like KCR;
MM 22.5; 13.5 J-1; 30. Looks like the hole it seals is the 22.5 mm # and I have no idea what the others mean but there is one in each quadrant of the bottom side of the seal.
If you had access to a good boat shop one of the expanding plugs they used to use for small boat bilge drains might work if you could find a close size.
